Grand Master Soke Terou Hayashi Grand Master Soke Terou Hayashi was born in Japan on 1924. He started learning Judo & Bayent in 1938. Admitted to the Motobuha Shitoryu Shisin Kai obtained Black Belt Shodan (Motobuha Shitoryu) on 1949. 1958 He began learning from Master Kuniba Kousa Shotoryu, Gojuryu and Shorinryu Ruaeiryu in Okinawa obtained Black Belt 5th Dan (Motobuha Shitoryu) and became Executive Director of Nihon Karate do Rengokai. Established Okinawa Kobudo Kenshinryu School with the permission of Master Kenko Nakaima, Soke of Okinawa Kobudo Ryukyu (10th Dan) 1961.

In 1965 he became the President of Motobuha Shitoryu Shisin kai. Obtained Black Belt 8th Dan from Nihon Karate Do Rengokai received the position of Main Director of Osaka Prefecture Karate Do Federation in 1968. In 1970 he received the position of Executive Director of Japan Karate Do Federation (J.K.F). Established Nihon Karate Do Hayashi - ha Shitoryu Kai and become the president and Soke of same in 1972. In 1978 became the Chairman of Technical Committee Japan Karate Federation. Became the chairman of Referee council of W.U.K.O. (World Union of Karate Do Organization).

During the year 1988, Mr. Titus Perera joined the Sri Lankan Karate Do federation. Followed by his keen interest to master Japan Karate, he started learning Japan Karate do Hayashi Ha Shitoryu, under grand Master Soke Teruo Hayashi, in Japan on the year 1990. Under grand master's guidance he obtained his black belt 3rd Dan and black belt 4th Dan in the year 1990 and 1993 respectively and then black belt 5th Dan in 1995, along with the title of 'Shihan'.

In 1997, Shihan Titus Perera won a silver medal in the veteran, Kata, event of the Hayashi Ha world Karate Championship held in Florida - America. Meanwhile he achieved his black belt 6th Dan on the year 2001. He was capable of winning the gold medal in the veteran, Kata, event of Hayashi Ha world Karate Championship held in Malaysia on the year 2004.

Hayashi Ha 4th Asia Pacific Chamionship About 20 countries are expected to take part in this Championship. It was first held in Indonesia. The 2nd and 3rd ones were held in Singapore and Philippines respectively. The 4th one has been awarded to Sri Lanka.
